Workforce Management Enhancements
Last week we launched our new Workforce Management Clock and a redesigned WebClock. Today’s release adds a single-sign-on to the employee self-service portal. Pressing the ESS button on the new WebClock will take an employee directly into their employee portal.
As we continue to enhance our Workforce Management Suite with additional schedule-aware features, employers need the ability to indicate that some employees are not expected to follow a schedule. As of today, employee profiles now include a field called Enforce Schedule, which can be set to 'Do not enforce' for employees who are not required to follow a schedule.

Enhancement for Workgroups
You can now set effective dates and expiration dates for employees’ workgroups! This allows you to specify the period in which an employee can be scheduled to work in the workgroup.
Workgroup effective dates and expiration dates can be set or changed:
- On the Workgroups tab of an employee’s profile (Employee > Employee > Employee name > Workgroups tab)
- On the Employees tab of a workgroup (Employee > Workgroup > Workgroup Code > Employees tab)
Note: Workgroups have been moved from the Rules tab to their own tab in employee setup. This reflects the central role workgroups play in scheduling and will make it easier to see and maintain an employee’s workgroups.
The default workgroup effective date is 01/01/2001 and the default workgroup expiration date is 12/31/9999. These defaults ensure that employees will be essentially unbounded in their relationship to the workgroup, unless you set a more restrictive effective or expiration date.

- Fixed an issue where dashboard statistics would not display when Day/Month/Year format was selected in company Rules.

Now Organization Codes longer than 15 characters will be truncated and assigned correctly to the client and employees.

Labor Code Reporting – A new report will be added to the Reports Menu titled Labor Code Reporting, not to be confused with the Labor Report. The Labor Code Reporting option provides two ways to observe hours worked:
