Overtime Per Individual Settings

Certain overtime settings may be applied to select designated employees, rather than affecting the company as a whole.

Note: Individual overtime rules are entered into the Additional Options  entry box of the Employee Setup  files and will be applied only to the individual employee at hand.

Tip:  To avoid applying the individual setting to all previous records, you may Freeze  any previous pay period.  For further instruction,  review the Freeze and Unfreeze Punches  page


 

Step 1

Entering individual overtime settings is accomplished in the employee's personal setup file.  To access the file, click on the Employee Setup link from the Main Menu  (see illustration).

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2 Select an employee from the provided  list or click the corresponding individual check-boxes to work with multiple employees. Utilize the button tool Work with selected Employees  found below the employee list.
 

 

Step 3

Enter the specific script code for the desired overtime rule and the new rule will be activated upon saving the updated file.

Note:  Be certain the script is entered precisely as is read in the Options  help pop-up; otherwise, the script will not process.
